TBT this year

Soooooo
Reflecting on this year? I can hardly remember anything.
Some of my favourite things that has happened is obviously camp, the school picnic and there's probably more that I'll talk about later.

Some good moments from camp are... When we slept in tents on the edge of the lake and told story's about memories of each other when we were younger. Also on the same day we did the bridge jumping around ten metres high ( which was sooo fun ). All the activities that we did including the high ropes where we belayed each other and had to climb this big ladder, caving wen we had to turn all our torches off and had to find our way out with no light and all the cool challenges in he cave like the corkscrew and poohs crack and the letter box I think it was called?

The school picnic was cool when the hip hop potamus got a prize for the sand castle comp. Then there was also he pool but it was stuffed with people! But it was still funnnnn. And that all I can remember from the start of the year.

In the previous years of the big day out my favourite time was at H2O Extreme pool were we got to swim around for ages and have fun unlike the ones at the bird sanctuaries. Where do I think the big day out will be this year?? I think it will be maybe at the movies or at the tramp park, but those A are just wild guesses.

Collage *whoop whoop*

So unfortunately next year I'm going to collage. Yay!
Going back to being the younger ones :( And MORE homework.

Next year I want to achieve more and try my best at everything I do, I want to be in at least 2 St Marys sports teams (oh yeah I'm going to St Marys ). I want to partake in netball, football and something else. The 2 languages I want to take is Japanese and French that's because I don't want to do German. One thing I am looking forward to is school Athletics! ( we get to dress up ). Some thing that could be challenging for me is homework, the problem with this is all the sports I do outside of school which is cheer, football, dance and tumbling.
What collage r u going 2?

book week

55th post!

So this week we need to write about our three favourite things about book week.
Sooo...
It would have to start with the "GOLDEN" ticket activity. How this worked is Ms Bolger would hide a golden ticket some where around the school and take a close up photo. Then she would post it on the blog at any time and we would have to find it. The reward was a chocolate!

The next one would be book character day. Last week on Friday the whole school came up the driveway wearing heaps on costume focused around a book or character. Mercedes, Kelsey, Amelia and I were all melman for Madagascar ( and yes it is a book ). Our costume was a last minute costume, we just wore onsies and had a sign around our neck saying " Melman for Madagascar".

And last but not least it would have to be Kate De Goldi. She came in on Tuesday morning and talked to use about her book / life experience. I liked her coming in it was really interesting and I learnt some different things about her ( she was no where near as boring as the guy on Friday).

That's it for this week - Bye!

Favourite childhood book

Post number = 54

Welcome to this weeks post! This week we have to tell you one of our favourite books were from when we were younger.
My book was ( Drum roles please.....)  Maisy Mouse !

My parents said that a was obsessed with this book I had the movie collection, books and a stuffed toy! I liked Maisy when I was around 4-6 years old, which is pretty reasonable for a cartoon.

The main characters were... Maisy the mouse, Panda who was Maisys stuffed toy, Charlie the crocodile, Cyrel the squirrel, tallulah the chick and Eddie the elephant. There was something weird about the show, it's was that they all talked like they were humming and there was a narrator who was translating what the characters were saying.

AFL .

Bulla,
Welcome to my 53rd post!

AFL = Australian Football League

So last week on Thursday room 12 + room 11 went down to the courts and learnt the basics of AFL. We learnt how to kick the ball accurately with both of our feet, also we played a game where we had to try kick the ball at one of the instructors. When we practised kicking the ball on both of our feet I was in a group with Amelia and Charlotte, at first we did ok then after a while we got the hang of it. The instructor also taught us some catchphrases which I cant remember but one of them but it was just a tip - Both crosses face up and down.

What did I learn on Thursday?
1. How to kick a ball on my left and right foot
2. How to get the ball accurately to your partner
3. How to pass the ball with your hands

Favourite...

Welcome.. To my 51st post!!
So this week we have to talk about something at the moment that we like.
At the moment / the past 2 years I've been in love with Cheerleading.

Well at the start of last year Mercedes was like " Siena do you want to do cheerleading with me?'' and so when I got home I went straight to my dad and asked him " Can I start cheerleading with Mercedes? Since then I've been doing cheerleading at Big Air with Mercedes!

At the moment I'm in the team 'Prodigy' and we've come to the end of the year with being a National Junior 2 team in NZ. Last year when I joined I was in the team 'Zeal' with Mercedes. So at the end of the year we get put in new teams to compete in for next year.

By the way cheerleading IS a sport and Its in the top 5 most dangerous sports in the world!

If you don't know what cheerleading is you should see Mercedes, Kelsey, Amelia, Imogen and me practising on the grass for or passion project or just for fun. Or if you cant be bother going outside to see us go on YouTube and search up ' Senior level 5 cheer routine ' to see that we don't just jump around being happy, we actually lift people higher than you've ever seen and pull a lot of cool tumbles and jumps.

Thanks 4 reading bye 4 now!
